Starting with a simple notion for a way to uniquely brand advertizing clients for events, “Dinner in the Sky” was launched by David Ghysels, founder of Hakuna Matata, a Brussels-based marketing agency whose calling card is the promise to create buzz for the event world. Most recently, he threw an exclusive event fit for a prince – a Royal Dinner over Monte Carlo’s Riviera.

The Belgian based novelty restaurant or “Sky Box”, hoists 22 guests into the air via a crane to a viewing height of up to 180 feet for any event imaginable, from wine tastings to weddings, anniversary celebrations, or simply a place to “hang out” with friends in a lounge. Their most notable Dinner in the Sky has expanded in recent years to include Marry in the Sky, Lounge in the Sky and Showbizz in the Sky, and in keeping with the original thought to promote companies, Branding in the Sky.

The Chefs in the Sky are notables from Paris, Spain, Canada, Hungry and the US, creating epicurean feasts that rival some of the best restaurants in the world, except with a special twist, creating spectacular five and seven-course dinners in the air.

There are mobile services available in 15 nations and cities of Las Vegas, Florida, Paris, and Brussels.
